Maybe I'm behind the times (been gone for a few weeks), but I was watching 4X4 TV last night, and they spent about 20 minutes on a single obsticle at what I think was CalRocs. Jeff was one of the Jeeps there (or some other yellow and red used-to-be-YJ), along with Scorpion and a bunch of hybrids.

80% of the vehicles rolled, when falling off the slight ledge to the right. It was no doubt one of the most difficult obsticals I've seen. Congrats Jeff - that's about as "professional" as it gets for now!

I get it on my dish network dish, on the outdoor chanel. It cost me $2.00 a mounth for that one chanel, and $20.00 for the other 40 stations. Last winter thay had a show called trekken on and all they showed was jeeps, and they have ATV tv. They have a lot of good hunting on there to. It will be on in one more time this week.

Don't feel too bad LEVE, I have a job but the only TV we have set up is in the kids room with a VCR for their cartoon tapes. The other is in the garage and will likely stay there. We get so much more done without it.

In my neck of the woods we don't get cable. We got Dish Network, but i don't like it too much, its my dads doing. We can't get crap where I live, no cable, no pizza/chinese delivery, no high speed internet.

The plus side, i can work on my Jeep till wee hours in the morning and not disturb anyone. My neighbor races mini-stocks so the night before the race he is out till 1-2 am trying to tweak the engine, its a very peaceful sound to go to bed too.

How did I do?
It was propably the Reno event.
We had a lot of camera crews following us around at that event.
Im pretty sure well make it into a few magazines in the next month or two.
I will be competing at the Carnage for the Con event, up at Donner Ski Ranch, on the 4th of July. Many of the National Media have commited to being there.
All the proceeds will go to the "Freinds of the Rubicon" to help keep the Rubicon Trail opened.

Damn, I had my PVR set up to record 4x4TV every week but cancelled it because they were showing re-runs. I've been wandering when I would catch Jeff on one of the shows, I guess I'll have to wait for a re-run to catch it.

Well Jeff, they didn't follow each vehicle through the obstical. They only showed the start of it, where most people rolled, unless they made it up. The only showed three people make it up, with much difficulty. One guy rolled twice on the same spot, but landed rubber-down both times and kept driving. I think you rolled also. Like I said, everybody rolled. I'll try and draw up a diagram of the obstical, since I can't remember the name.

The show is hosted by Doug Meyers, and airs Mondays at 4:30pm ET and Wednesday and Friday at 9:30pm ET.

Here's a drawing of the obstical, to hopefully refresh your memory. They would start at the base, where many stacked rocks to get up the initial lip. Then it was a near-vertical climb up the rock face, but most would fall off the right side and roll (where the dark colors are). If they made it to the top, (by keeping left), many would fall in the crack at the top left and almost roll the other way.
