im thinkin about torching my whole unibody frame rails and building a new frame bumper to bumper of 3x3 .188 thick

 

I thought you just made a frame ???

 

thats why im "thinking" about it lol, i just made a subframe just like yours but with 2x4 . im thinking i may need more than that with rockwells and a v8 and a whole new boxed frame would be insanely stout and my xj body would basicly be sitting inside my cage ontop of the frame

i may use 4x4 box or 3x3 , wonder if they make 3x4

and it would make a perfect base for when i go coils all around

Trust me I always have enough coffee with me.As for sitting way up on those pointy rocks, survey the area for some more to crawl over

 

Guess what, it's standing on all 4 wheels now, gonna have to change the upper spring to a 250# spring as it does not sit right, front was a little hevier than I guesstimated, good news is that I have the right springs sitting in the garage already along with a whole bunch of wrong ones LOL
I will change them out tomorrow amd post a new picture

almost, go 60 front 14bolt rear and go leafs and just give me the coil overs

Past the point of no return....I've used that phrase before to justify spending more $$$ with the wife. With all these mods and upgrades how much stuff do you have laying around to sell?

After seeing yours, I don't know why the hell I bought leafs for the rear???!!!

 

I got the front springs switched today and it is sitting on all 4 wheels. Tomorrow I will fab a track bar up. The list is definatly getting shorter. I think I will wait a little while to post a picture since I know it will drive Infamousebutcher nuts
