I have U joints that have a small threaded plug in the center of one cap, smaller than a standard zerk, anyone know of a zerk to fit
this hole? or some adapter for a grease gun? Have tried auto parts stores here and found nothing

Buy a pointed needle shaped fitting for the hose on your grease gun. This has worked successfully for me for 15 years. Use a plumbing fitting and attach two hoses together for better reach and articulation if you so choose.

the zerks you are looking for are called "cup" zerks. they requir a needle fitting to use them.

Lone Eagle -
Jeep Joe and Blackjack are dead on in their posts. I can add this for what it is worth: My Tom Woods CV rear driveshaft has three of those suckers on the CV end. I have to remove the whole thing from my vehicle each time I lube it. However, I don't mind. (Iwuvmyjeep)
