During my last test fit, I marked my mount position on the tubes, but didn't mark Left and Right on the mounts themselves.

Are they out-boarded or in-boarded on a '91 G. Waggy?

Out-boarded:

or In-boarded:

My spare axle is inboarded. I haven't modified it yet.

Before you weld them back on, make sure you wont have interference problems. I couldnt use the stock position on mine because i would hit the spring plate when it started drooping. I ended up moving mine to the front and closer to the knuckle (i swapped upper shock mounts side to side, also have SR). I would test fit everything then put them where you actually need them.

That's a good point. Bolt the axle in and weld them on last.

Thanks guys. I ended up throwing my springs and u-bolts back on, slapping the outers/brake caliper on to check for clearance, and welded it outboard.

In-board would've hit my spring top plate since i'm SOA now, like you said. I also had to trim my top plate a little bit, just for a little more clearance.

I always weld the shock mounts in last, put a straight edge up there and line everything up. I don't like to fight shocks into place.
