you could definately fit some 33s with fender trimming and a 4.5 kit, im glad to see youre willing to cut. i cant stand it when people dont wanna cut , better stability if you cut and alot cheaper then lifting to the sky. youre headed in the right direction and dont be scared to cut, take your time and you can make it look as good or even better than stock. best thing to do would be buy the kit and then the tires and flex it up and find out where you need to cut. weld the rear end buy a locker for the front get some rockrails and a hitch and youll have a very capable rig then go wheel and if you like it alot then start saving$$ for some bigger axles

Dude! Are you kidding? I can't tell you how many times I've banged on my Ibenez when the Jeep would not run.

How about you just remove the front fenders entirely. They're just for looks, anyhow....

I would not weld up a D35 and expect it to hold up. If you have the D44A, you might get away with it. Either way, start looking for D44 from a '97+ Wrangler TJ.

Make friends with people who have lots of tools!

Oh- and you may find it easier (maybe even better) to run 33x10.5" tires (BFG makes this size), or those too-cool 34x10.5 Swamper LTBs

well I have my acoustic and I enjoy it much more, Has more smooth rythm's and Im more about the chords.. Well I thought about taking the hole front fender off but wouldnt that just shoot mud in the carburator? Any one know or have any tips on lifts? Rubicon Express or Rock Krawler? Any how.. So I should go with 34x10.50's? Need some advice on tires..

I wouldn't weld up a diff you plan on driving around(daily driver) cause isn't that like spooling your rig? Your gonna burn through tires welding up a diff, then driving on pavement

it wont last long on rocks but to me its worth the traction , i was out playing with my 38 boggers today and my buddy with 35 boggers unlocked ( both of us with toys) he could go half the places i could with my welded rear end. i got pulled out by him once and i pulled him out 4 times and i was trying harder stuff lol

what year wagoneer ?

No, only the outer fender would be removed. Also, there is no carberator as the truck is fuel-injected. Unless, of course, you changed the fuel system when you installed the engine.

By Wagoneer, do you mean full-size Jeep? pre 1984? or mid-size Jeep XJ? Any way you swing it, the Wagoneer would probably be the better choice for off-road use. It's considerably lighter, the rear suspension is easier to modify, and the body is much easier to trim.

Man, I like my Jeep and all, but wow, I wouldn't sell a Les Paul for it. Come to think of it, I wouldn't sell my P.O.S. Ibanez for it. (Not that Ibanez is bad, but mine is a cheapo.) Good project though, you don't see enough ZJ's built good.
