Let us know how they do, off-road. I need new tires next year and I am starting my research now.

The beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad, so I had one more for dessert.

I like the RE Extreme Duty kit. It has plenty of flex for SUA set-up. I still have to do something to protect u-bolts, probably with u-bolts skid plates. This is the biggest drawback of the SUA set-up, in my opinion. I might look into u-bolt flip as well. I might wait till i get that new rear axle though (long wait :( ).
It rides good, better than the shot stock springs I had before.

Lucky fool. I'm in the market for new tires and wanna get a set of the new MTs but the local 4wheelparts here in memphis doesn't know when they will be gettin them. I guess i will have to talk to them a lil bit more tomorrow. Its gonna be either the new MTs or the Super Swamper TSL/SX.

dennisuello, let me just say that you have a beautiful jeep. I too drive a 91, but mine is red and there is some trail damage. (roll over) I keep my high lift in the back. I have been wanting to figure out a way to mount it outside to get it out of the way. I looked into the front bumper but didn't want to cover my licence plate. I notice that you did.... DO you run into any trouble because of this? Just wondering?

91 YJ swaped in 4.0L 2 inch lift. (work in progress)

thanks, it does look nice when it's clean :) my wife wants me to keep it clean too, or wash it right away.
there's plenty people here in CA running without a front lic. place at all. At least mine is there. My buddy doen't have the front one on any of his three cars. I think he got only one "fix it" ticket so far, but he also goes pretty fast. I don't think they would stop you for that. Unless you're doing something else wrong and get stopped, then they might ticket you for the licence plate too.
p.s. i had to drill another hole in the bumper for the right mounting screw, but I don't care if i have too many holes in my bumper.

I dunno about the US, but in BC Canada we have to have front and backs.
But some "special" cars don't. I dunno what the deal with that is. What makes their "special" car more "special" then my Jeep.
If the policia are coming from behind (like they normally do) then they won't see your front plates.
Otherwise I'd just relocate it.

I got pulled over once for crossing the double yellows, after a few minuites of chatting, and them realising I wasn't drunk, just had a shoddy steering situation, I said.

"Hey, I didn't know you guys had a Jeep Cherokee." (to the police.)
He said "Oh ya, we've had it a while, It's a great vehice."
So I told him he should get it jacked up and some big ass tires on it, and he let me go.

They even wave now too. anytime their in the Jeep.

Do you think insurance will cover the carb if it some how "teleports" behind the tires of a 350 with dualies?
