OK...It isn't new but it is new to me and it was free. Lincoln 230v single phase. It is supposed to be 225 amps(plenty for backyard repairs) and all it needs is new welding cables. I had the opurtunity to pick it up last summer but had no 220 outlets outside my house. With any luck I will be able to get an electrician friend of mine to run an outlet to the tool shed in my yard this weekend. Since it appears that I will be swinging in the 5.0 in my driveway instead of in my shop at work I figured a welder for free was un-beatable.

Slowly everything comes together.

Once I pick up some new cables and run the 220 line I'll be in it for a couple of bucks. The main reason I got it for nothing was because it is from like 1975 and the person who gave it to me hasn't used it in several years. It does work however(I tested it with the cables that were on there and got a little jolt).
