I'll be there thursday night too. I don't think you'll have a problem with people showing up.

Also Friday morning will be the park Safety class for anyone who would like to lead groups. It only takes 0.5 hr and then you are free too grab a group of three and roam the park.

 

What time is the park safety class? Do you get some type of certificate for future visits?

I will be there friday am, (9-10) so I am not sure if I will make the class, But I suspect they do them a few times a day for when folks show.

 

The Safety Course is a 15 minute video and will be good for the whole season. I talked with Stephanie and arranged the course to be held at 8:30 AM sharp.

I will not be there unfortunately... I really had my heart set on going but my grandmother isn't doing so well... and I shouldn't go off and play while she is sitting in her nursing home bed. I'd feel much better being around her and that is the right thing to do, besides, the wheeling will always be there.

 

OK, how does this work with the safety course?
Do I need to attend this before I am allowed on the trails? What time is the cut off? 8:30am?
When and where do we meet?

So many Q's and it's ony two days away!

My current plan is to come up to New Jersey and see Dan Chesla (JerseyZuks) and leave his place in the morning to make the 2 1/2 hour drive to Paragon. I just need to know if I have to get up at 5am to get to the safety class on time so I can go wheeling with the hardcore group.

The safety Course is for people who want to lead trails. It isn't necessary for everyone. Totally voluntary.
If you want to take the course it's at 8:30 at Paragon on friday. Look for all the grubby looking zookers and that will be us

 

When are you guys heading up ??? I'm heading later thur night about 10 to 1030pm.

I will be installing my new cage (thanks Rockrat!) on Thursday, and we will be leaving for Paragon on Friday morning. In order to avoid traffic on Rt42 & Rt76, we would need to leave before 6:30am, or after 9:30am.

Judging by Sean's previous post, I think he will be leaning toward the 6:30 time.

Thank God for 24oz Wawa coffee!

I'll be tearing everything out tomorrow morning, so I'll have all the prep work done when Sean arrives. Sean has pre-assembled and painted the cage for me, just so I would have it installed for Paragon this weekend! The cage should just drop in when Sean arrives.

 

Right now I have plans to leave between 12 noon and 2pm from my house and it is a 6 hour drive without traffic. Dan, I hope you have a lighted garage....I will be out of here as soon as I can. How's traffic coming up through Deleware/Jersey area at 4-6pm?
