I am going to do the GM conversion and have a wiring question.I have done the search thing and found a fair amount of info on the subject.There seems to be several different ways wire this up. So my question is what have you all done and how did it work out.I am looking for the best set up that will be both reliable and simple.

Mine works great. I did the one wire thing where you loop back the other wire on the connector to the alt. Here's a page I used as a reference:
