People are creatures of habit, so when things happen on/to a board, things that start to bug you like a loud squeak in your vehicle that only happens on the freeway, you tolerate it for awhile then move on
For me it started with the fricken popups, especially the full-page Nissan ones.
Then it was the zillion board software changes, at one point I found I always had to re-log in anytime I switched browser windows. Sure it was a cookie issue of some sort, but it only happened on this board. Off-Road personnel never answered my emails.
Then the spelling issues with some uneducated folks have made it difficult to search for information before asking a well thought out question. How sad it is that some cannot spell Samurai, or Suzuki, or Axle, or Brake, since this is the Suzuki Forum and it’s spelled out on the forum page we look at. Even the moderator brags about his ignorance and his third grade education. Any need to mention the Reply to Thread page has a built in spell checker.
Many newcomers didn’t bother to search; they just asked the same lame brain-dead questions. Some were so stupid they were beyond funny, just sad. This also got old.
I see the last time I checked in here was December 21, 2006.
So I’m not here any longer like so many others. And you might think good riddance to me, or we don't need you, or maybe I have a bad attitude.
I bet if everyone on this board left and no new posts were started, no one would be looking at the advertisements, nothing would change, management would not notice.
This board, like other ghost towns, is dead; it just doesn’t know it yet.
