Just wanted to add that most replies you'll get will refer to the 'crawler gears' that are available, meaning the extra-low low gears in 4x4. These are great for crawling over stuff, but I believe you are wanting to know about re-gearing just to compensate for larger tires. In your neck of the woods, I'm sure you hit the mud - you can get Too Low for mud with the crawler gear set, but regearing for the larger tires is THE way to go for street use and to save that clutch in the mud.
