What gear ratio do you guys recommend for 33" tires with a AMC 360,TH400 and Dana 300 in a CJ-7?

4.27's would be about optimal, but with the 360 V-8, 4.10's should be fine.

I would run 3:73 ratio.
It would give you better gas milage and it isn't far off from the 4.10 ratio.
It is still low enough for mild off-roading.

Alittle better than stock.
And now with a future Jeeper on the way.

i'm running 3.55's but i think 3.73's would be a better choice.
