On the gay issue, there is so much "anti-normalism" these days, it's like reverse discrimination. Chalk up one more "minority" for the liberals. Now, if you're gay you qualify for a special scholarship to Harvard. Really, gentlemen, the only minority really left these days is the Married White Christian Family. Where's my scholarship? I tried to petition University of Miami for a full scholarship on the grounds that in Dade County, Florida (where I grew up), white males were a statistical MINORITY!! They laughed at me and told me to talk to FAMU.

yeah, its so easy to be homosexual these days...wake up! When was the last time you heard of a white conservative male being murdered becuase of his sexual identity? When was the last time a bunch of gays surrounded you and beat the hell out of you becuase you were white? Yes, in certain areas of the country it is easier to be gay (like big cities, calfornia ect) but it still takes balls to come out of the closet becuase of comments and people like you!
I'm not gay, and I personally don't want *see* that sort of thing, but if thats how you are then go with it. This is the only culture that is so close-minded to homosexuality. Almost any ancient culture dealt with gays by treating them as equals (even more so, Sparta's population went *down* for a few hundred years becuase there weren't enough straight people reproducing...history class is so interesting these days) It is only in this modern age and culture that we are suddenly so horrified by gays, like they're leaping out of the woodwork now and haven't been around since humanities beggining. Native Americans, most Europeans and finally some mainstream Americans have learned to deal with homosexuality with a level head and a lack of violence.

MudFlap, what you failed to mention is that those other "ancient" societies worshipped idols. There's a fundamental difference in the societies. It's like comparing your Jeep to Yugo. It don't work like that. See, this country was founded on the principal's of Christianity. Like it or not, that's the truth. While we have tolerance for other religions, it's just a fact that the founding father referred to "GOD", not "GODS". This being said, you can turn to the Bible for the fathers inspiration. It's quite apparent in the Bible that homosexuality ain't quite right (Sodom & Gomora ring a bell?)

Therefore, if you take an educated look (what are they teaching you in history? That America resembles Sparta? Where's your chariot?) at this country, you'll see why so many people are outraged at the homosexual movement which would seem to threaten the principles the country was founded upon.

Now, if you know your history, anyone would know that Europe is composed of numerous small countries with radically different backgrounds and beliefs. Therefore, homosexuality would certainly be more acceptable in some (but not all) parts of Europe, even today.

However, to compare this country at any time to an ancient civilization is just ignorant. If you did that, you could find lots of things to say that our society was full of crap, wouldn't you? Nero slept with little boys, so is it ok to go molest teenagers since the Romans did it? Doubtful. Romans also pitted man against man to the death for sport (viewed my hundreds of thousands), would you encourage a gladiator school? What about Asian culture or ancient African culture? We could go on and on. The fact is that none of that has any relevance..

I'm not sure it's "guts" or just "bad taste" that causes someone to come out of the closet. I don't discuss my sex life outside of my bedroom, so I'm not sure why gay men feel a need to do so. If they really were in a loving, caring, committed relationship, they'd know that what goes on behind closed doors in their home should stay there. Do what you want if you're gay, but listen - I do not want to hear about it. Why would you WANT me to?

They just passed a bill that gives the schools the right to take your son for his first homosexual experience if the **** psych at the school "feels" that it will benefit the kid...and you have NOTHING to say about it. We tried to get a bill to the Assembly floor to give parents the rights over their children's welfare that the constitution and GOD gave them, but the homosexuals on the committee killed it. As soon as your kid steps onto the school property it's open season for the homos to recruit another dummy into their ranks just like they did to mudflap. They sucked him in with words like"gay" and "diversity" instead of PERVERSION, which is exactly what it is. Flap's attitude reminds me about the story of the emporer's new clothes. Flap is so afraid of not being "Cool" and "Modern" that he sees what isn't there. It's PERVERSION kid.....and it always HAS been. NO AMOUNT of "labeling" will EVER change the fact that homos corn-hole each other...THAT's what they do, kid, they aren't GAY, they're perverts who have made up words like "gay" and "homophobe" to make themselvers look normal.....to lower the bar for our whole society.
