I'm building an 87 tin top for my neighbor and need some information. I'm putting it on Toyota axles with Jeep springs and running 33x12.50 AT's.
What back spacing do I need on the rims? I'm outboarding the spring to match the stock Toyota perches.

You'll be fine with standard backspacing (3 3/4" or less) in the front. Are you sure you want to outboard the rear springs? I wouldn't recommend that. It is easier to move the rear perches in and you will want to rotate the pinion anyway. Outboarding the rears will create an imbalance in your effective spring rate and rob you of a lot of your flex.
