Hello Everyone,
I know I don't post much, but I have been looking for a metal locking gas cap for my 72 Commando, I have seen some pics with them on there on some of the jeeps, can someone tell me where or what type I need to buy?

Thanks for the quick response, I went to the web site and found exactly what I needed. Thanks again, you guys are great. Also to let everyone know I will be moving to San Diego in Jun 04, so I hope I get to see everyone there. I won't have the Commando due to being deployed as soon as I check in, but I will bring it down next year for sure. Thanks again.

when i bought my jeepster it had that exact same cap on it, you will like it. it just snaps in and out. i traded it to another jeep owner that had a slightly bent gas inlet and it sealed it for him.

If you just want to look at PartsAmerica, just make up a Zip Code.

I went through all the Jeep caps at Kragens, Walmart, Auto Zone, NAPA: nothing fit. Finally bought one off E-Bay.

Found this in a search:

Gas cap
Bobster, I got an OEM cap from Walck's In Bowmanstown, Pa. Ph. 6108523110. Morris R. lists Item#999923-5351809 non-locking and #934197 Locking. 11.80/23.00.Ph. 7324583966. The OEM did "stripe" a little with the OEM tank, but hasn't with the Aero...go figure! Now, find me a OEM shifter knob for a TH400!!!
