Just curious, why didnt you do it like you had in the first try, with the tie in at the front of the rock rails and then a cross bar going in front of the windshield?

 

Just seemed to be to much and i tink its more ridged this way, tie the body in then all the weight not on the rocker.
the windshield corner there seems to be the strongest point on the body.This is my first attempt at a roll cage so its all tryel and error...Im gona finish the back half this weekend and i havent figgered ou t where to mount that........

 

that will look really nice when you get the back done,

are you going to do a front part to protect the front fenders and hood?
