Front End Rattle

Ok, I've got a new rattle in the front passenger's suspension. It is a metal to metal sound, and it only can be heard when the front suspension is jarred (speed bumps, pot holes, etc.) Any suggestions on what is normally loose? I'm thinking maybe a shock or something? I'll prolly pull off the wheel later and see what i can guess......

Nah, move the end link. Shouldn't have to remove the wheel. Just reach under there grab the end link, the bolt that goes from hole in sway bar end, to hole in lower a-arm. And move it all around, see if the rubber bushings are shot. Theres a bushing in between the a-arm and swaybar, if this cracks and falls off, the sway bar will be pounding into the a-arm.

Figured it out

It was the upper shock mounting bolt. I just tightened it up! Do i have to worry about over torquing it? I don't have a torque wrench, just kinda tightened it with a regular wrench......

I wouldn't worry about over torqueing it. At worst you'll break the bolt or bend the metal flange that holds the shock to the frame, either is not a big deal. It's better to be pretty tight anyway to prevent the shock's rubber from getting reamed out. If it no longer makes the noise and you didn't break the bolt it's fine.
