Front coil spring swap?

Does anyone know if the coils from the 90-97 Cherokees will fit in a 98+ Cherokee? I have a set of 3" rancho lift springs from a 95 that I want to use in my 99 but I don't know if they will work and rancho doesn't have any answers either.
I would prefer to find out before I buy everything else, take it all apart and find out they don't fit.
Thanks for any help.

My three inch lift, said that it would fit 84 to 2001 XJs, they stayed the same for a long time, but thats cool for us.
