Recently replaced front rotors and pads on my 85 F150 2wd and didn't relize until recently that I did not put the rattle clips in when installing the new pads. Ripped apart the garage yesterday and can't find them. The pads rattle when driving around town until I hit the brakes. Stopping is good but my question is will not having the clips in cause any damage?? Thanks in advance for any replies!!!Mike

i replaced my pads on my 86 bronco, and i had no clips for the pads, but rather some anti-rattle grease/glue. from what i remember on mine the pads are secure without it, just noisy. am i right in this belief? anybody?
