have a 90 yj with 6cyl / 5spd the front axle will not lock in there is on vacume at front axle any idea what is wrong i checked for vaccum leaks and did not find any front shift fork moves and locks if i put vaccum to it any help would be great thanks

If you are not getting vacuum to the shift motor, usually the vacuum switch on the t-case is bad. The Jeep parts people call it a "space ship". It is about $16. and will install in about 5 minutes.
