found a 1948 jeep for sale for $1000.00. Says it's been stored for 17 years. Nedds lots of work. Little bit of rust but complete and all original. I'll try to go check it out on friday. What do you guys think?

IMHO if it's in decent shape and it will turn over... it's a steal. I'd love to find one like that. I paid $1000 for my 83 CJ and it lost half it's weight being towed home from the rust falling off... and it had a blown engine! Jeep fever is horrible... but I was going through mourning for my FSJ Waggie!
