My friend just got a CRF250R, and let me tell you, that thing flys!! just about in every single way the bike is perfect, beyond nimble, the only downside is it eats up gas

I am going to get some pics up of my friend jumping it, he is still breaking it in, but is still able to do his 40 ft double.....

comes stock with renthals, and probably some of the nicest looking plastics...
He still has his KTM125, which is great to, but he says the 250r can stomp on the ktm, he did his 40 ft double which comes straight from a hill, in 4th with the KTM, with the CRF he did it in 3rd and cleared it

and for all you wondering if he is good, he just moved from california where he raced more than one can imagine, I will post some pics and videos of him jumping his 80ft table at his local track

did I mention it was fast?

really id love to see that even though im a two stroke yamaha guy with my 2002 yz125 i hear that if your lokin for a four stroke 125 class motocross bike honda crf250r is the way to go and you even said VIDEOS? now i would really like to see this if you could!!!

anyways tell your freind good luck with this thumper he will love it!

damn Ian, sounds like it's bad, how long have u spent on it so far? I imagine their somewhat like a yz250f...but they sound like a lot more bike than that, did his parents buy that one for him too?? lol...tell him to be a nice friend, and give u the ktm

Hi Pooh,
I'm new to the board but an old desert racer from So Calif. I have a good friend who's son also races here, his name is Robby Bell from the Temecula area, thought your friend might know of him. He is pretty good and also races a KTM 125 & a CRF450. He likes the Honda better too.
Check out his dads website. It's got some pretty cool stuff on it about the big honda XR650 that race the baja.

yes he was from so. cali, moved up to connecticut, only god knows why, he didnt, but he raced a lot down there, I was supposed to get some pics and [bleep], but that weekend we got massive snow, so I will hopefully get some this weekend, and yes this thing is badass...

he has a KTM125, CRF250R, and a xr50 completly decked out now

yes his parents bought it for him, because they made him move up to connecticut

Hey all just thought i would throw in my 2 cents. Well see, I am sure that this bike is a rocket but I am sure that the yz/wrf 250's would give them a go for there money, personally i think that honda's m-bikes feel like [bleep] to ride They have the horse power all right but you can't use it all as the handling is so wierd. I have had plenty of experience with honda's so i am not just talking up my WR250F.

Any 1 interested in coming on rides in QLD Australia I know heaps of choice tracks. Just trying to organise a bit of a crew to go on rides, Let me know if your keen ? I already have about 3 or 4 others The more The merrier !!

I would need that ski on the front of bike to get there. And gas stops would be real tough.
