Here is how the day started, lots of snow.

Brad

Sean

Jeff

Me

This last picputs the hill into a little better perspective, in the upper middle of the picture you can kind of see my passenger and I climbing out thru the driver door

Just a flop on the side, no damage or injuries, righted it, drove back down the hill.

It was a group of maybe 35-40 rigs getting together for what was going to be a "noobie" run, but with the main group so big and varied levels of rigs a lot of people went off and did their own thing.
Actually the flop wasn't bad, and kinda funny in that the same passenger (my brother in-law) was with me when I rolled the CJ5.

Snow and hills are a tough combo. But even with the roll, it looks like you had a good time. With nothing hurt, that shows that the fab work was good.

And the bottom of it "looks marvelous".

Low 30's most of the day. The first YJ buggy broke the trail on the far right line, then Sean driving the gray buggy did some amazing lines that no one else made, until his roll. Jeff in the second silver Samurai made the far right line with some throttle help, but was denied on all other lines. I was able to crawl the line on the right side, but called it a day after flopping over at the top of the hill turning around

You are indeed, a man amongst men... and much more tolerant of the elements than I(ashamed to say). BUT SURE LOOKED FUN!

And I'm extraordinarily confident that a "flop" in my rig would not turn out nearly as uneventful as a "flop" in yours. Kudos to you.

This was actually the third run out in it. The suspension has worked great each time. Climbs great, very stable and no unexpected movements. It is pretty well balanced front to rear, but I will probably be adding a rear swaybar and change oil levels to tune it some more.
Here is a pic from the weekend before

Sorry I missed out on the fun. I was thinking about going but chickened out when I saw the weather. One of these day's I need to get out with ya'll and have some fun. Looks like everyone had a blast. I should have just sucked it up and gone.
