Once in a while I manage to flood my 258 on hills (duh) but I really like /wwwthreads_images/icons/shocked.gif the way my jeep performs other than that. I rebuild the bbd once a year or so... I have an old Cagle regulator from my racing days and wonder if anyone has used this approach and at what PSI. I'd like to hear from you. Thanks Ken

I never used a pressure regulator with the BBD, but I've been using one with my Weber for a couple years. It runs like FI on hills and rough stuff. I'm running 2.5psi, but the Weber requires lower pressure than the Carter.
