My husband and I are backcountry skiers and love treking in to the country around the squamish and pemberton area in B.C. We have decided to buy a sled (and a trailer) to expediate our travels for our weekend adventures so that we can get more turns in. Any suggestions on sled for a couple of newbies? We are looking to buy a new one (we think) with $ we saved on our honeymoon.
I am suppose to be doing the research but really don't know where to start!

Any new sled specifically made for the mountains would work fine for you. Skidoo makes a Rev Summit Adrenaline 600HO SDI which would work good. It has a 2 stroke engine but is good on emissions and also has excellent fuel economy. This would be my choice.

I personally love Arctic Cats...but if you buy one, get it new trust me, and if you're going to be breaking trails, you probably want to look for something that has a "long track" for deep snow riding. Buy New.
