Filling holes

I have a few holes I need to fill. Some are from screws from the snaps from the original soft top. Others are dime size. ( I relocated my antennae ). I guess I would just use body filler on the small ones, but I'm not sure about the larger ones. Would you spot weld a strip of metal to the underside and then fill? Any suggestions?

Thanx,

Good question.... I have an arrow hole/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif in my driver's door that I need to fix. I planned on using a patch

On my CJ-7 I used a welder to fill the small holes and fiberglass patches for anything larger than a 1/4". The fiberglass patches are cheap and easy to work with. Filler usually doesn't last to long unless it has a reinforced backing.
