hi there

is a factory service manual the same thing as this

which has technical service manual as a title.

i was under the impression that these manuals are quite expensive...like $100 or more.

i'm looking to upgrade from the chiltons/haynes

Yes, mine says "1976 Jeep Technical Service Manual" on the cover. It is about 1 1/2 inches thick, produced by Jeep Corp. and covers CJ/Waggy/J-trucks. I paid about 70 bucks for a brand new reprint. I've seen used greasy ones go for $20-50.
