I think it depends on what style rims you get , by the looks of some fords some wheels appear wider than others . the plain steel ones seem tucked closer in and the chrome and aluminums look further apart but I'm not sure about that . Heard that some dodge rims will fit zooks too.

Mudslide,
I own an F-150 and also had the same brainstorm.... But, No Such Luck.... The backspacing and lug pattern fit okay but.... the center hole is too small to fit over the front locking hubs on the sammy. I have the Ford Factory Aluminum 15x8 and Ford Factory Steel 15 x 7 and same story on both units... I have also tried the chrome full size Dodge Factory mags for late model pickups & vans and same story... Center hole too small...

However, older Jeep wheels do fit. I would suggest test fitting any wheel before buying them or measure very ( especially the center hole diameter )carefully...

When i bought my 33's they came on some ford bronco stock steel wheels, they had the small center hole. 20 min with a grinder on each wheel and i could bolt them onto the zuk. the backspacking is way too much for a zuk though, thats why i put my 10's in the rear. These stock ford ones ate 8's

So what was the final conclusion?I want to rid of the stock rims for a bigger print and wider stance preferably from the local "Auto Recycle"yard.

Mudslide,
I purchased a set of 15 x 8 aluminum AR wheels with a 3" backspacing, these wheels have a very large bead seating lip in excess of 3". So when I air down to 5 lbs the beads stay mounted. And I Beat on them.... No need for BEAD LOCKS!! They were a BEAR to mount tires on though had to use a lot of soap........ I am now running 32 X 11.5 Mud King tires and they're really great... Also, Summit Racing has white wagon type wheels with any backspacing and correct centerhole diameters for only about $25 each new!! I use these wheels as a set of spares with 30 X 10.5 tires them for on the highway.

if you use ford or dodge wheels make sure they came off
a 4x4 or they may have small holes and not fit over your
front hubs---oldzuki

I did this I actually have the rims in the shed right now. They are the chrome northland addition rims. That reminds me I need to sell them :) All I did was take them to a local machine shop and $20 later I had a perfect fit.

I used them when the Sammy was Stock.

Yep, like oldzuki said, you just have to make sure the Ford wheels are off of a 4X4.
