Hey everyone. I'm new to the board. I will most likely be getting a 92 Ford Explorer. I know these things have a rep for being road queens but I was hoping to work on it and make it less road queenish. I know the front ends are tire eaters (TTB after all) and was wondering if there is a lift that would stiffin it up a bit because I've heard of other lifts that help out TTB problems greatly on other Fords. I would like to know what kind of trans is under it too. I think I remember reading that they have electronic transfer cases. Can they be beefed up or am I just gonna have to swap it out. Also I would like to know if the front end is a dana and if it is what kind. I know this is a lot to ask but any answers would be greatly appreciated.
