Oh man, you're a touchy one! I make a few snide remarks and all of a sudden I like to insult people? Sorry, I haven't been calling people names and such like you like to do. I may have fun with my posts, but I never insult people through childish fits of anger.

You just hate it when someone's opinion doesn't fit in with your immature and self-centred view of the world. Bomb Iraq - sure - I guess we won't be seeing you anywhere near those bombs, eh? Maybe you need to spend less time hiding in your bedroom full of guns, and get out and see the world.

and whos going to protect the people here in America? so we dont need any sort of law or protection here huh? also my brother is over there right now, what relative or loved one of yours is over there risking their life for this country? thats what i thought.........do you remember how you embarassed yourself on the cadillac thread? your doing it again.
you can say all you want after this but i will not give you the satisfaction of another word out of me. maybe if your ignored by enough people you will go away.

Actually, you're giving me more satisfaction by not bothering me anymore.

And I didn't embarass myself on the Cadillac threat - I won that one

I'm pretty sure that it was this specific item that bothered you the most. You'd probably still be my buddy if your vehicle wasn't at the bottom of the list - it's only been the Chevy crowd that's been on my case since that thread - coincidence? I think not.

Fair enough - in the end most of this stuff is opinion. But I don't have a problem with people disagreeing with me - I try to get to what they really believe, and that is when people around here start getting nervous and defensive. If you want to state your opinion here, be ready for the "I agree with you, uh,huh, uh,huh," as well as the "I disagree with you, and here is why."

For example, with the Cadillac thread, there was all this senseless import-bashing going on - I defended my right to own and love my imports, and I got severely flamed for it. I took it in stride, and pointed out why they were wrong, and all the Chevy people got up in arms about it because I showed real evidence about the quality of Japanese products. No-one provided contrary evidence, and therefore, I was proven right. It's just plain wrong to supress the truth to make things look the way you want them to.

OH MY GOSH !! here we go again , i have a couple of questions...... who IS the leader of Canada anyway? my guess is some crotchety ole bag that lives in Buckingham Palace .... whats up with the bush bashing anyway? these are troubled times but at least we have a president with a spine , not an intern molesting , married to a "dike", lying cheating and who knows what else leader anymore . heck when all the scuttle butt was coming out i was really expecting the news flash "President molests teenage daughter " to embrase the headlines but it never did ... cover up or oversite? you be the judge . it sure would fit his "profile"................ i bought a house from someone who "ran to canada" to avoid the draft for vietnam ,i rate him lower than pond scum . i sure wish you guys would quit letting our cowards run "up north " to avoid their civic duty .... where do you guys run when you are afraid to fight for your country? i will bet that you dont have that "option" if your country is threatened .... 100 years ago you would have been smoking a cigarette blindfolded , pondering the reason why there was a firing squad pointing their rifles at you .this is just my view (opinion) , i am sure some poeople will want to argue but as every one knows the more you try to convince someone to change their mind the stronger their fortifications become . i just want to know why the canadians dislike President Bush, and favor the last president so much? ....Von Warner

Canadians don't necessarily support Clinton more than Bush, and I don't intend on representing all Canadians here. Around here, a lot of people support Bush, but if you call him an idiot, no-one will give you trouble - not unless they are drunk. Canadian media is more leftest than CNN or CNBC. If you watch Canadian or British newscasts (never mind French or German newscasts), you will see a much different story than what American newscasts provide. We have our political variations just as the US has - our variations just tend to be slightly further to the left - the ruling Canadian Liberal party, for example, is probably "pinko" in backwoods lingo.

This is our leader Jean Cretien (and this is a flattering picture):

If men who dodged the draft during the Vietnam War are lower than pond scum, then how do you rate George Bush on his miliary record?

considering bush is still in office and he's had a significant amount of tragedies/jobs/decision to make, he's yet to settle the scored on his "military record"

Alright, fair enough.

A good site for info that you can use against or for your chosen American politicians, try here (notice that this site blasts ALL the politicians - and it is properly referenced and sourced): The Skeleton Closet.

he he .... your right, that isnt a very flattering picture of your leader.

its funny how the camera can make someone look so silly if the shutter snaps at just the right moment....on the pond scum thing, i was speaking of the draft dodgers that ran to Canada and let my friends fathers die in vietnam .... when all the fighting was done they came back to the U.S. and to this day act like nothing was wrong with what they did . i wasnt thinking about the priveledges money can buy some people , or the ones that became career students to avoid the draft . lots of things wrong in the good ole U.S.A but i would much rather look out my back window and see a cow than a camel . things could be worse

glad to see this post is going better than the ones about the cadillac. i respect everyones opinion here and anywhere else for that matter ...as i would hope that everyone does of mine ... you dont have to agree with me and neither do i with you but i will take the time to consider your viewpoints ...after all if they are important enough that you will defend them, then i guess i should be open minded enough to try to see a different point of view. even if it doesnt fit "the profile"

i might even change my opinion if i see "the light " ....Von Warner
