I think I am going to paint my entire Jeep with durabak, even the outside and inside engine compartment and everything else. I was wondering about heat from the engine, how much of a problem will this be? I really want to go with something like durabak for the durability and the fact that I can drive it through trees and stuff and it wont scratch. If the heat is a problem is there something else I can use? Also, are there any other problems with painting an entire Jeep with durabak??

Shouldn't be a problem, most cars have asbestos fabric liners in their hoods and they stand up well to heat.. durabak should work fine I'd imagine..

If a Jeep can't take you there, Think twice about going..
