Anybody ever checked their compression on a 1.3?
My front cylinder is about 165 and the others about 180.
Specs say min. is 170.
Plugs look good.
Wondering what to do, has 140 rounds but runs okay.

Those numbers are awesome dude! Was the thing just rebuilt?
I've checked two 1.3's with high mileage and found around 120-150 pounds on 'em. What makes you think something may be wrong with yours - does it smoke or something?

Compression should be +/- 10% across all cylinders for a smooth running engine. I've had motors in the 85 - 90 psi range. Little loss of power, quart of oil in a 1000 miles but still ran ok. I think the factory may sets limits based on emission controls etc.
