What pump can I use for my EFI install? It's a 90 1.3 and I'm putting it on my 88.5 1.3. I was given a NAPA part number, but it says it's only 6 psi, isn't that too low?

Thanks for any info.

I just put a new fuel pump on my 94 zuk and I went through the same questions. I was told by a few people that if the pressure is too much then it will flood the engine. They told me about 6 to 10 psi is what is recommended. Anything higher than 15 and it starts drowning out the engine. Of course, I don't know this for sure because I ended up putting the stock type fuel pump back on and running it off a toggle switch. Hope this helps!

Hmmmmmmmm, since it's TBI vs multiport EFI, I think it would be under 45 psi. Dunno ##'s for sure though.. TBI is higher than carbs but lower than MPEFI

The stock pump put out 70 psi when the high pressure line is restricted. The regulator controls rail pressure by dump excess fuel to the return line. I would say you need a pump that will hit 20+lbs. I think at idle, pressure is supposed to be like 17 lbs.

Anyone with a factory serice manual?
