Is there an easy way to tell the difference between a 4 cylinder and a V6 grill? Does anyone have the dimensions of the V6 radiator opening?
thanks for your time, jjc

I have a 63 CJ5 with a V6 put in. I don't see really any difference other than the radiator has thicker rows. The grill hasn't been cut, but there is room for alot of cutting. I put in a new raditor with three rows, the original one had two. It works fine for me, other than drilling some new holes to lower the radiator when i lifted the jeep.

I have an 83 CJ5 so read this for what its worth. Having said that I have a grill from a M38 and it has a built in radiator shroud that is huge it doesnt seem there would be room for a V6 behind it. This grill is very heavy and is going to make a great neon sign.

My first Jeep was a CH-47 "Chinook"
