Has anyone out ther tried Duplicolor's bed liner? I just saw it at Wal-Mart for $40 a gallon. Has anyone tried it? Any comments appreciated. This would be a huge moneysaver over Durabak if it works.

No contest. Durabak/Herculiner wins hands down. A buddy of mine tried out the Duplicolor on his front footwells before taking the plunge and it didn't hold up.

Glad I didn't invest in the gallon then! I just bought one rattle can for my inner fender wells. I haven't used it yet, but I figured it would hold up better than under-coating... Thanks for the feedback..

I did my underbody/frame with the duplicolor and tub with Herc. The two products aren't even in the same class. Durabak/Herc hands down. I found something to get the duplicolor off my hands fairly easy soaking in Xylene hasn't got the Herc off my hands yet. Finished painting today.

I did the inside of my tub with the duplicolor stuff, and I have to repaint it after every trip. If ANYTHING is in the bed, it will scrape it up, and you will have to touch it up. The good news is that is comes in the rattle can, so it is easy to touch up. The bad news is, that I have spent more on duplicolor stuff, after all the repainting, that I could have just gone with durabak to begin with. Live and learn.
