Hey guys,

Looking for a little advice on my dual battery wiring setup. Plan is to have two independant circuits that can be connected in parallel if the situation warants it. Using a marine style battery switch to direct charge to the two batteries and two volt meters to keep track of the charge in each battery.. Would be better with an isolator but thats 100bucks+ that I don't want to spend. Already got about 100' of 2/0 welding cable, and will make the bus bars outta aluminum squarestock with plastic watertight enclosures..

anyways, whaddya think?

Which one did you get? I have a set up right know but have no isolator. I was looking at the Surepower one that is sold by Warn, but also saw your web site. I want something that will charge both batteries while the truck is running but isolate the batteries when the truck is off. That I can jump myself if needed. Just those few questions and hoping that the experts will have some answers.

jumping your self with that isolator is a problem but i was thinking of hooking a 2Ga wire to the 2 batterys and have a beefy switch on the line so that the line usualy has a break in it the switch over to jump yourself Stuby
