Why don't you cut your own shaft? Use the front or rear and cut it with a tubing cutter, then weld the ends together. It should work to get you your sticker.

I dont have a tube cutter nor a welder and think it would cost as much to have this done as it would to buy a used (correct length) unit from someone in the forum.

probably not much help to you, after shipping costs are involved...

You COULD, cut your driveshaft to length with a metal blade in your circular saw
get some tubing that would slid over it ( as a coupler) and have it welded locally for not much money...Or heck, drill 2 holes on each end and stick some bolts and sleeves thru there, it would probably hold together for a few miles..



skip the coupler and have the shaft welded right if its cheap too ( depends the kind of weld shops in your area I guess)

How soon do you need one? I live in Maine, have a shaft (stock '81 CJ-8), cutter, and welder. I went to larger shafts and don't need this one. If you're willing to make a trip to Maine, you can have it, we can cut it down and weld it up. It won't be balanced, but it should do in a pinch. The slip joint is a little loose, so I wouldn't use it as a primary.
