does anyone know if TJ doors are compatible with a YJ doors?

thanks thats what i figured. I found a smokin deal on some doors but knew something had to hang it up. oh well right.

If it's really a good deal why not buy and resell them? Most jeepers I know could always use a little extra cash!

hard doors? soft doors? half doors? full doors? which? Sometimes it is possible to fit it in...

True. TJ and YJ doors are different. The bottom (tub) opening is same. The top is different. Latch mechanism is different.
...that said. It is possible to mix & match. i.e. - I used YJ BesTop Superdoors on my TJ by changing the hoop latch on TJ tub to striker pin and "adjusting" the top portion of the door to fit TJ windshield rake.
If you can get a smokin' deal, maybe it is worth checking out if you can improvise a fitment. ...I mean people have been doing that with Jeep engines for years, why not doors?
