Petroworks still has the aftermarket door handles, I just got them (see my other post) and love them!
I don't think you will brake these!

well isn't this a small world, yesterday i was out playing with my samurai in the yard, went to get in, and snap, the handle came off, i was ticked off. I have spares though, they are easy to replace. Remove door panel (you don't need to remove all of it)roll up window, unbolt the two nuts and then unhook the linkage....

 

mine both broke within a week of each other this fall.

That's probably reasonable for all four.

 

That is what I got, I think $70 for all 4 isn't too bad, since it costs at least $20 to get another plastic one or risk your luck in the junk-yards, witch I've taken all of them
