Are Diesel fuel tank inherently different that gasoline fuel tanks? The reason I ask is I found a great deal on Diesel fuel tanks. For Rezzybed of course. /wwwthreads_images/icons/cool.gif

RJ- I bought the bogger, It was one of those Military CUCV's. The deisel motor was gone, but the tank was still there. I just took the sending unit out, Cleaned the tank real well, put it back in and have had no problems. one thing different would be the filler neck- the deisel one is actually nicer because It's much bigger and easier to use with a gas can. That probably won't make a difference anyway if you are just getting the tank though and not the filler neck. I am almost certain the hose diameter where it enters the tank from the the filler neck is the same as with standard gas tank.

I used a diesel fuel tank in a 1980 truck once. It seems to me that there were some differences, but none that stopped me from useing it. I believe I recall having a problem with the inlet tube being the wrong size and having to adapt to my filler neck. A hose with different I.D.s on each end.
