explorer pro-comp tires are made by cooper tires! and of course, the pro-comps gotta cost like $30-$50 more! as it is, i can't find cooper stt tires (285/75r16) for less than $140 around here.

You only live once, but if you live it right, once is enough.

Yup! Thats old news on here but important for people too know, Because like you said the pro-comps do cost more than an equivalent(sp)Cooper tire.

Check out http://www.costire.com for dirt cheap Cooper tires. Their quote to me for a set of 4 285/75R16 STT's beat the local place's by $140! With my buddy mounting and balancing them for me, I still saved $120.

You can't get a Cooper Discoverer STT in 305/70R16 or 315/75R16 though./wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif I like the sizes of the ProComp Muds, but their prices are re-fricking-diculous.
