Dana 44 Rear Axle For Sale

I got one too, that I,m hauling to the dump this weekend.

Easy killer. No need to be rude to the guy.

What i meant was, i got one too, I have no need for it, it clean up time, someone please come get it, nobody lives near mobile al, i cannot use it, it going to the dump, too much junk in the yard. mine is the two piece 44 so it not really that good.

Save your ring and pinion brownbag, it sure might come in handy in the future, especially if it is a low gear ratio.
By the way, what ratio is it?? I may be interested in it.

What is the preferred axle for the rear of an early CJ? My understanding is that the later, flanged Dana 44's are not a simple bolt in due to the differential being on the centerline vs. the early 44's having an offset diifferential.

What do you mean early? The 44 is a good option for most CJs. '70.5 - '71 came with a 30 spline one piece shaft off set version
that is good for all the '45-'71 CJs.
