Saw the add below and was wondering if these axles would work for a jeep swap. How wide are the old J10 truck axles? Thanks...
1974 J10, shortbed, no title, no motor, no tailgate, in fair shape. $125 w/o dana 44 axles (4.09 ratio),
$350 with.

Grand Wagoneer, Wagoneer, and Cherokee (narrow track) axles are the ~60" wide ones. J-Truck axles are the same as wide-track Cherokee axles. I'd guess between 65" and 67" wide....

too wide probably around 65 inches.

also tht early in teh 70s it might be drum brakes on front and closed knuckles.

look for a set of wagoneer axles 76-79
they will be 62 inches wide, disk in front and flat topped front knuckles if your lucky.
