Dana 20/30 axles

I have the chance to pick up some used front/rear axles for my jeep. I plan on putting new 1 piece axles in the Dana 20 in the summer. Is it possible to put a used rear axle in my jeep if I was on the trail? How much should I pay for a 2 piece axle. This is just as a "pre caution" until I buy new 1pc axles.

I want to carry extra parts in case something breaks.

How much should one pay for spare axles front/rear for the trail? Thanks.

The spare axle shouldn't be too much, just make sure you're staying with your wide track axles, the narrow tracks of the '81 and under era won't fit. Becuase everyone is going to 1 -piece axles, you should be able to find a set for about $50. I spun one of mine (eons ago it seems) and a friend gave me one for free as he had 8 of them laying around. Should be an easy swap on the trail.
