After reading the post on converting a 14 bolt to rear discs, I was wondering if it is really that easy to do, and if I could do it to a d60 rear. Any idea what calipers and rotors to use?

This would be very easy to do guys. Make these part substitutions and you should be in business.

Go to http://www.aa-mfg.com/ and order 2 of part number AA-049-A $6.77 each.

When those parts come in head down to your local parts place. Order up calipers and rotors from a 72-78 chevy 3/4 ton with 8 bolt pattern. You should be in business.

Make sure to check the diameter of th rotors against the size of the caliper bracket and the axle tube thickness. I used ford rotors which screwed up the height of the bracket.

Go for it!

Check out http://www.metalfusionfab.com

What he gets you are the adapters, complete instructions (and I do mean complete), and detailed parts list that you can literaly take down to the local parts store and lay on the counter and walk out with everything you need.

Not bargain cheap, but still less than the TSM and other kits out there.

Whether or not you go with his stuff, just tossing one more option to consider /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif
