my 258 is only using the first four cylinders. i've swapped plugs and wires with known working ones, but no change. plugs are dry. i have spark, but maybe not enough?? only 40,000 miles on rebuild. please help.

Have you pulled the cap and inspected the rotor and all of the contact points?

good news, i think. i took the ol' acetylene torch and sniffed around the intake - i have a leaky gasket. going to swap those out and hoipefully it'll all be better. thanks for the advice.
