Currie's big tie rod

Wondering - I put the Currie heavy tie rod and drag link on my Rubi - found the joint where the drag link ties to the tie rod is too close to the steering damper mount - had to cut part of the damper mount away and remount the steering damper higher.
Also noticed on full droop the Currie tie rod hits the stock sway bar mount, limiting turning ability.
Also noticed the tie rod is very close the the diff cover. maybe 1/4 to 3/8 inch clearance is all.
It has the 4.5" RE lift, but that shouldn't make any difference in tie rod clearance.
Wondering if that's only on the D-44's on the Rubicon or regular TJ's too?
