An old co-worker told me today of a place near his parents that had an old Jeepster parked out front in the weeds. I slid down to check it out this evening about dark. Sure enough, a '6? convert sitting there by the shop. It's pretty ragged (rusting at all seams, top FULL of holes), but it's complete! Original everything, down to the trim pcs that run from the cowl down the sides, front stabilizer, funky rear bumper with "cutout" for the spare, side mirrors, and all the glass & top pcs. It was last registered & licensed in '91 so it's been "parked" awhile.
If anyones interested in purchase or photos, let me know. I have the shop owners name and will be contacting him him about other "finds" next week. He has several waggies, J4000s, & butt load of other AMC stuff.

Didn't see any bullnose parts, but I didn't walk the entire property. It's kinda rural, the "Neighborhood Watch" consists of shotgun toting farmers! I'll ask on Monday. He evidently has several sons with shops/yards, so I'll ask about them too.

I spoke to the shop owner today. He said the 'vert IS NOT for sale (belongs to customer he said). He said he'd sale the D44s from a '79(?) Waggie for $400 (still sounds a little steep for junked axles). Didn't asked about all the other stuff. I told him I'd call this week and try to come by for some pics.
BTW, it's in Welcome.
GRQ, any good parts on a 4000 I should know about?
