I have a 71 commando with no title that I was going to part out , but I figured I would post it here before I start cutting it up . It still has the 225 in it and the frame is good .The tub could use some work but it is easily saveable . The front clip is good too . The 44 is still in the rear .No top or interior . I do have a T 150 and dana 20 that can be bought for cheap to put this back together with . 500.00 with the tcase/tranny combo obro for the commando alone . email me at jeepparts(remove)@hotmail.com if you are interested.

Do you know the Gear ratios in the axles? I may want the rear axle out of it.

Chris, theres a guy near me selling a "supposed" 72 (has a v6 in it) for $200. If its the one I'm thinking of, the body is SHOT. Its more like a 69. I believe theres even bullet holes in the windshield

Its in the Paper shop under "Antique autos & parts". Its advertised as "Pittston, Pa." but I think its in W. Pittston, across the river. Thats 5 minutes from my house.

Bill, does that jeepster have good axles under it or do you know. All I want is a nice rear Dana 44.

And about the engine my father bought from you, i might be coming up to paragon Nov. 22 or the 29th not extacly sure what day yet. Would it be cool if i stopped by after wheelin and pick up the engine? Let me know if either day is good for you please.

Chris, I think the rear axle on it is a d30, not a 44, but I can check it out this weekend if you're interested. I should be around both saturdays, towards late afternoon. E-mail me and I can give you my cell#.
