Coil\'s on my SFA

I am in the process of putting a front suspension out of a cherokee under my 89 blazer, is there any body on this sight that has done this , I found a truck on s10-4x4 done this way but the dude does not return emails, if not I'll just have to figure it out as I go along. Main concern is the upper coil buckets and the trailing arms

i thought about doing mine that way, but i got a cheaper way. you will probably need to measure everything off the cherokee a few time to make sure and write it all down. then figure out how to mount it on the truck. you will have to make your own custom supports for the coils... good luck, im just going to use leaf springs...

First, keep the s10 steering box and mount the XJ steering strait to that (it fits great). You will need to mount the control arms to the frame, and then mount the coils to a stock XJ plate. For a bit more lift, find some Grand Cherokee(ZJ) coils.

Re: Coil\'s on my SFA

I have talked to a bunch of guys that did the leaf spring set up and it seems that it would be just as much fabrication to do that as the coils. I am going to try and cut the upper buckets of the jeep and fit them to my s10 I need to know the width of the coil mounts to see what it will take to line it up left to right on the blazers frame rails, do you feel like hoppin under your cherokee with a tape measure, or Ill just wait till this weekend when I haul the cherokee home (I got it free with a blown engine!!!!!) it is a real turd though.
